About the Position
As a Fleet Operations Coordinator, your day will include:
Coordinating daily operations of a 4-truck local fleet
Scheduling and monitoring fleet movements for safety and efficiency
Supporting the loading/unloading process to maintain workflow
Managing operational administration, tracking, and reporting
Resolving issues and escalating customer concerns as needed
Key Responsibilities Include
Plan and dispatch daily vehicle movements
Maintain accurate transport and delivery records
Act as the first point of contact for drivers and customers
Support driver compliance with safety and operational protocols
Identify and escalate operational delays or delivery issues
Skills and Experience Required
Experience in a transport or logistics coordination role
Familiarity with fleet tracking or TMS (Transport Management Systems)
Ability to prioritise and resolve day-to-day operational issues
High attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills
Clear communication skills and customer service orientation
