What does a typical day look like in a Shop?
In your 4‑hour shift (or more if you like) you will do a variety of tasks such as:
* Welcoming and engaging customers
* Processing transactions through point of sale, including cash and EFTPOS payments
* Sorting and pricing donations
* Creating vibrant displays to attract shoppers
* Keeping the shop clean and tidy
* Following all shop processes
What skills do you need?
* Friendly and positive attitude
* Sociable and engaging with others
* Happy to work as part of a team
* Flexible and willing to do any of the shop tasks
* Commitment to your nominated shift
Whats the application process?
* No need to upload a resume – just tell us why you're interested in the role
* You'll have a friendly interview in store, and we'll ask you a few questions and you can ask us questions too
* You must be at least 15 years of age (16 in QLD)
* Completing a National Police check (paid for by Red Cross)
* You'll also be required to complete an Induction into our organisation and Retail program
