Synergie is seeking a Storeperson for one of Australia's leading coating, paints, sealants materials located in Tullamarine, VIC
The important parts:
1. $37 Per Hour +Super + Penalties
2. Temporary to Permanent Opportunities
3. Monday to Friday 8AM – 4PM
What you will be required to do:
As Storeperson, you are responsible for inspecting and verifying incoming goods, ensuring quality and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate records in ERP systems. It involves operating forklifts and stock pickers to manage stock, performing cycle counts and inventory checks, and upholding high housekeeping and safety standards.
4. Operate standing reach forklifts and stock pickers to transport and store shipments
5. Inspect and check all incoming goods for damage, accuracy, and correct documentation
6. Verify product labels, batch numbers, and specifications
7. Accurately record deliveries and maintain ERP system entries (QAD)
8. Perform stock control, daily cycle counts, and assist with year-end inventory
9. Maintain high housekeeping standards and participate in 5S activities
10. Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) procedures
To be successful in the role you will:
11. MUST Be Australian Citizen or Permanent resident
12. MUST have Current forklift license and STANDING REACH FL Experience
13. Experience with warehouse operations, stock control, and ERP systems
14. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
15. Good communication skills and a collaborative team approach
16. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Please note, this role is 70% store person duties and 30% forklift
