In the heart of the Mornington Peninsula, Main Ridge Estate is a favourite destination for visitors and locals alike.
The historic 50 year-old Red Hill cellar door and kitchen is set in a working winery, with tranquil bush and vineyard views from the sundeck. Our customers include tourists, regular holiday-makers, and the local community, seeking tastings and purchases of our renowned wines, a relaxed lunch or 'sundowner' drinks.
Cellar door tastings and sales, casual lunch service and drinks with snacks are offered between Noon and 5pm every weekend, and during holiday periods - around 120 days per year. Your normal roster would be approximately 2 to 3, 5 day-time hour shifts every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus extra days over long weekends and Summer.
This is a food and beverage service role, working alongside a small team of chefs and wait-staff. The owners and winemaker also actively work on the property.
Duties include order taking, table setting /clearing, and food and beverage service.
* Applicants will need a current RSA, own transport and the right to work in Australia.
