Senior configuration management professional

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Specialist to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter program.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in Configuration Management, formal training/certification and knowledge of industry standards.

They will also possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities and attention to detail.

The role is based in Enoggera, Brisbane with the Army customer in an integrated Attack Helicopter System Program Office (AHSPO).


Key Responsibilities

* Manage and maintain the program's product definition and design data, technical baselines, engineering changes and approved configuration.
* Coordinate Configuration Control Boards and ensure that engineering change is managed in a controlled manner.
* Prepare and participate in product technical design reviews and audits as required.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of configuration and data management plans, processes, systems and tools.
* Maintain the controls necessary for data to meet security, trade control and intellectual property requirements.
* Effectively interface with project team members and our customers to support the operation of the platform.


Qualifications

* Proven experience in Configuration Management.
* Formal Configuration Management training/certification.
* Knowledge and understanding of industry configuration management standards.
* Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
* Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Configuration Status Accounting Tool.
