What we’re looking for
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in nursing.
- 2+ years post-graduate, with broad experience in general/community nursing.
- Current Registration with the AHPRA, with zero notations.
- Genuine interest in working in the community and with the aged population (experience an advantage).
- Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach.
- Strong experience in wound and catheter care, and chronic disease management.
- Robust interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with families and other clinicians.
- Australian driver's licence.
The role
- Provide services such as wound, catheter, stoma and bowel care. 1 day per week (ideally Wednesdays) around the Illawarra/Shoalhaven regions.
- advanced clinical assessment skills for chronic disease management.
- Administer medications and injections.
- Perform an optimum standard of nursing care to our clients.
- Use your exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities to provide an optimum standard of care to our clients.
