Veritas Specialist Centre is a leading multi-disciplinary bariatric and general surgical practice committed to delivering exceptional patient care through a collaborative team approach. The practice integrates surgeons, dietitians, psychologists, exercise physiologists, medical specialists and support staff to provide comprehensive treatment for patients seeking surgery. As the healthcare landscape evolves, including the growth of GLP-1 therapies and changing referral dynamics we are strengthening our commercial capability to ensure sustainable growth and clear performance visibility. This newly created role has been designed to bring sharper commercial insight, structured referral pathway development, and data-driven decision-making into the centre of the practice.

About the opportunity

This is a strategic commercial role focused on performance, referral growth and long-term direction. You will analyse clinical, financial and referral data, design growth initiatives, and lead their implementation across GP outreach, marketing and service optimisation. You will work directly with the Clinical Director and in partnership with the Practice & Operations Manager.

The Practice & Operations Manager oversees daily administration, billing and patient-facing processes. Your focus will be commercial insight, performance modelling and growth execution.

You will bring structure to revenue analysis, referral tracking and service-line optimisation and translate that insight into measurable initiatives. This is a commercially accountable position within a specialist healthcare business.

Responsibilities will include:

* Building and maintaining monthly and quarterly performance dashboards
* Analysing revenue by service line and identifying margin opportunities
* Monitoring referral patterns and conversion trends
* Personally implementing structured GP outreach and tracking referral impact
* Managing external marketing partners and actively monitoring ROI performance
* Supporting service-line strategy and procedure mix decisions
* Contributing to forecasting and annual planning
About you

You are commercially astute, analytically capable and comfortable working in a clinician-led environment.

You bring:

* Experience in specialist or private medical practice leadership or commercial healthcare roles
* Strong financial literacy and confidence interpreting revenue and margin performance
* Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into structured growth initiatives
* Experience engaging GP referrers and strengthening referral pathways
* Capability overseeing external marketing providers and evaluating ROI
* Experience with Gentu/Genie or similar clinical systems is advantageous
* You think commercially and act decisively
* Are confident working autonomously in a clinician-led environment
* Enjoy structured analysis and strategic planning
* Want to influence the long-term direction of a specialist practice
