Business Improvement and Planning Manager
Haileybury welcomes applications for the role of Business Improvement and Planning Manager to lead our Business Improvement and Planning (BIP) team. This is a full‐time, ongoing (1.0 FTE) position commencing 16 June 2026.
Synopsis
The BIP Manager will play a key role in leading the Digital Evolution program, coordinating across the School and external vendors to ensure alignment, manage interdependencies, and maintain delivery momentum. The role will support the prioritisation and delivery of broader initiatives, strengthening Haileybury's capability to deliver complex change.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a high‐performing BIP team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Oversee the delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment to organisational objectives, effective execution, and appropriate resourcing.
* Enable cross‐functional collaboration to drive process improvement and organisational outcomes.
* Lead delivery of the Digital Evolution program, coordinating across ICT, business stakeholders, change resources, and vendors.
* Manage interdependencies, risks, and issues to maintain momentum and achieve outcomes.
* Ensure vendor outputs align with organisational requirements and integrate effectively across initiatives.
* Maintain accurate, compliant project documentation in line with governance frameworks.
* Apply consistent delivery leadership across all assigned strategic and improvement initiatives.
* Own and maintain the integrated master schedule, ensuring initiatives are planned, sequenced, and tracked.
* Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, including approvals and reporting.
* Define and monitor outcomes, benefits, risks, and performance, including post‐implementation reviews.
* Engage senior stakeholders and align roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
About You
* Demonstrated experience leading and delivering projects.
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance.
* Proven leadership, planning, and resource management capability.
* Experience in budget oversight and financial management.
* Strong risk management and mitigation skills.
