One of Australia's leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage multiple Windows Engineer/Cloud Engineer to support key initiatives across the department. The successful Engineers will join a technical collaborative team responsible for deployment, management and maintenance of highly complex, critical infrastructures. The successful candidates will be offered an initial contract until 30 June, with two 12‑month extension options.
The successful Windows Engineers/Cloud Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Plan, installing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading Windows Server operating systems and associated hardware.
* Support and administration of cloud infrastructure and automation/orchestration platform.
* Developing and managing hardened Windows COE environments including application patching and application deployment.
* Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships with divisional staff.
The successful Windows Engineers/Cloud Engineers will have experience in the following:
* Skills in implementing security controls and monitoring for threats in cloud environments.
* Strong experience managing hypervisor platforms.
* Strongly developed skills in programming for automation: Knowledge of programming languages for task automation and service manipulation.
* Strong understanding of network design and management principles in a cloud context.
