The Advisor will contribute to the development of high quality, proactive policy coordination and advice to support Solar Victoria's leadership team to ensure Group programs are best placed to support Victoria's energy transition.

The Advisor is responsible for coordinating advice and input into briefing materials, cabinet submissions, ministerial and parliamentary requests, budget bids, and other key priority matters for Solar Victoria, ensuring timely and accurate information flows across the Group. The role will work closely with departmental stakeholders including with cross organisational working groups to support effective information sharing and emerging issues in the delivery of Group priorities.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of strategic policy development as well as group-wide project activities on behalf of Solar Victoria.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

* Knowledge of fiscal policy, energy policy or climate change policy
* Experience working in policy development within a Government context
* Relevant tertiary qualifications such as public policy or economics.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2028. The successful candidate can select a base of either our Melbourne or Morwell office, hybrid work arrangements are also available.
