The role
Senior Occupational Therapist – Broome Mental Health Unit
Employment type: Permanent, Full Time.
Effective on 1 July 2026, the salary range will increase to $127,194 to $135,150 p.a.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, plan, deliver and evaluate patient‐centred therapy programmes for individuals and groups.
- Provide advanced clinical assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions, ensuring high‐quality, evidence‐based care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and Aboriginal Liaison staff to facilitate culturally appropriate client activities that support recovery and wellbeing.
- Offer expert guidance on NDIS access and referral pathways, supporting comprehensive client assessments and service coordination.
