The Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified carpenter who is ready to take the next step into a Leading Hand construction role.
This is the ideal role for someone who enjoys being hands-on, coordinating work on site and wants to grow into a leadership position with structured support and real development opportunities.
You?ll work across Brisbane and South East Queensland, assisting in the delivery of industrial construction scopes and gradually stepping into supervising small crews and subcontractors.
What You?ll Be Doing
Hands-on carpentry works on brownfield industrial sites
Construct and install formwork, platforms, access systems and timber structures
Assist in site preparation, civil works and concrete activities
Support structural installations and fit-out works (walls, linings, doors, hardware)
Interpret drawings and work to engineering tolerances
Maintain tools, equipment and safe work practices
Work alongside Site Supervisors and Project Managers to coordinate works
Gradually take responsibility for leading small teams on site
What You?ll Bring
Construction White Card
Strong hands-on carpentry and site experience
Ability to read plans and follow engineered drawings
Solid commitment to safety and quality
Positive attitude and willingness to lead and mentor others
Experience in civil/industrial construction
Confined Space, Working at Heights or other high-risk tickets
Certificate IV in Building/Frontline Management (advantage but not essential)
