The Library comprises of two areas which work closely together, Research and Information Services and Information Management Services. Research & Information Services provides impartial, confidential, and tailored research and information services for Members of Parliament and other clients. Research responses can be in the form of verbal briefings and/or written responses such as analytical research reports, client research and information briefs and statistical bulletins. The Research and Information Service operates in a dynamic changing environment, working with multiple priorities, often within tight timeframes. The Service offers client and staff training programs, keeping staff and clients informed in an ever-changing information management framework.
**The primary duties of the position are**:
- To provide high quality client-focussed research and information that meets the needs of Members of parliament, their staff and other specified clients.
- To participate as an active team member to support the strategic direction of the Parliamentary Library.

- Experience leading within an enterprise environment, designing modern (digital) AV and Broadcast systems and delivering projects on-time and on-budget in a complex workplace.
