Job Description
About the Opportunity: We are seeking a Casual Pastry Chef to join our innovative team at St Vincent’s Care Services, Eltham. Located just 20 km north-east of Melbourne’s city centre, Eltham is known for its green spaces and welcoming community. In this role, you will bring your culinary skills and passion to create a fine dining experience for our residents, delivering and planning pastry menus, and showcasing your creativity in a dynamic aged care setting.

Qualifications and Skills
Trade qualification in Commercial cooking (preferred), current Food Handler Certificate
Proven experience in high-volume cooking environments such as fine dining, hotels, healthcare
Excellent knowledge of Food Services and food safety standards
High level of customer service and attention to detail
Ability to follow care plans and understand resident rights
Excellent food presentation skills
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (within 6 months)
NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required
