People Mill has an opportunity with one of our Insurance Broker clients in Adelaide. Our client is a very successful Broker, medium sized office with a high performing team. This is a newly created role due to growth. This is also a good move for a seasoned Assistant looking to make the next step up or somebody hungry for career.
The Role
This role is to assist a Senior Broker within the ISR, Property and Construction space while essentially running your own show. You'll be an expert when it comes to good admin and, also the chance to manage and grow a healthy, medium sized SME portfolio with some long-standing clients. Our client has the flexibility to tailor the role to fit the person. It's a busy, successful brokerage with many long-standing clients who have been with the business since day one.
Ideally, you will possess 2+ years of experience within the insurance sspace, and you will also have a Tier 2 or 1 in Broking (Or be willing to do the study and achieve the quaoification). Our client will look at candidates with <2 years experience, however you must show drive and passion for the insurance industry.
Some other components of this role include:
* Responding to client queries with a sense of urgency and professionalism
* Providing a high level of customer service to clients, wider broker team, underwriters and other key stakeholders.
* Seeking opportunities to improve internal business processes.
* Ensure accuracy of documentation and policies for external and internal clients and procedures.
