Job Opportunity in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery
This role involves providing high-quality oncoplastic breast surgery and supporting the breast cancer pathway.
* Deliver a first-class breast surgery service, including immediate and delayed breast reconstruction and salvage breast surgery.
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan the future development of services.
* Offer a full remit of breast surgery services, including outpatient and theatre lists.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and develop care pathways and clinical guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a consultant-led service with the highest standards of care.
* Develop and maintain good working practices within wards, outpatients and ED.
* Collaborate and promote close working links with colleagues in tertiary centres, community services, and primary care.
Seniority Level and Employment Type
The appointment is at a mid-senior level and is covered by the terms and conditions of service for Hospital Medical and Dental Staff under the 2003 new consultant contract.
