Family Partnership Role Overview
The Family Partnership Worker is a key role within the organisation, responsible for delivering culturally appropriate health services to Indigenous families in the Kimberley region.
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of experience, skills, and personal attributes that align with the organisation's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Imperatives: Contribute to the strategic imperatives of the organisation by aligning with the organisational plan.
2. Program Delivery: Deliver program services in accordance with the AFPP model, ensuring a client-centred approach.
3. Culturally Sensitive Practice: Foster community engagement and support through culturally sensitive practice.
4. Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Experience in clinical practise or community health education programs.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
* A strong understanding of Aboriginal culture, history, and the social determinants of health affecting Indigenous communities.
* Capability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
