Full-time

Revenue Clerk

Permanent full‐time position, 35‐hour work week. Salary: $69,551 to $78,929 per annum plus superannuation. Salary will be assessed based on skills, experience and qualifications. Minimum increase of 3.25% from 1 July 2026.

What You Will Be Doing
* Processing a variety of rates and revenue transactions, such as direct debits, pension concessions, waste adjustments and supplementary valuations.
* Maintaining accurate records for ownership, property, rates, charges and debtor information.
* Responding to customer enquiries in a professional, empathetic and solution‐focused way.
* Working closely with internal teams and liaising with external agencies, including government bodies and service providers.
* Supporting billing, recovery and debt management activities in line with policies and legislation.
* Completing data entry, reconciliations and compliance checks with a strong focus on accuracy.
* Rotating through different tasks across the Rates and Billing teams to build your skills.
* Contributing ideas for process improvements and supporting a positive, collaborative team culture.
About You

You don't need extensive experience in revenue or local government; however, this role is well‐suited to someone who enjoys structured, detail‐focused work, can follow procedures accurately, and is comfortable learning systems and legislation while delivering respectful customer service.
