About the Role:
* Lead and manage staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in the delivery of healthcare by maintaining, evaluating and improving safety and quality practices and initiatives.
* Participate in teaching for Fellows, Registrars, Interns and Medical students.
* Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
* Lead and manage staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in the delivery of healthcare by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives.
* Participate in staffing/unit duties including, but not limited to, overseeing junior medical staff, participating in unit meetings, participating in research, participating in the administrative tasks of the unit, and participating in various committees.
* Facilitate budget compliance by the efficient and effective use of resources.
* Support alternative revenue sources and maximize funding for the delivery of service (where appropriate).
