**Your new role**:
You will be working on the Hunter Class Frigate program (HCFP) as an ILS Deliverables and Configuration Officer. HCFP is the largest ever surface ship project in Australia's defence history and is transforming the shipbuilding industry by supporting the building of a world-class, continuous naval shipbuilding capability for our nation. Reporting to the Hunter Class Frigate Program ILS Business Operations Manager, you will support the day to day development and management of HCFP ILS Program Operations.
**More specifically, this role will see you**:
- Coordinate and support ILS deliverable authors, peer reviewers and authorisers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of ILS Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and other deliverables,
- Ensure the status of each ILS deliverable is appropriately recorded, tracked and updated,
- Review ILS deliverables ensuring:
- Correct Template used,
- Overall spelling and grammar is checked,
- Relevant metadata has been added, and
- Mandatory sections (references, indexing etc.) have been included.
- Coordinate the update, edit and review of the Integrated Support Plan
- Support the maintenance of ILS configuration records in accordance with the Hunter Class Configuration Management and Technical Data Plans.
- Contribute to the integrity of the Configuration Management (CM) system, including processes procedures and tools supporting CM in the project environment, including the accuracy, currency and completeness of CM data / metadata, and the proper organisation and categorisation of documentation and data
About you
**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:
- The ability to obtain or hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance
- Demonstrated experience in Configuration Management and relevant CM tools and associated databases
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Can prioritise and manage personal and stakeholder activities to meet schedules
Clearances
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
