About this position
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment at our site in Western Australia.
* Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Detect and diagnose faults in complex systems, collaborating with reliability engineers as needed.
* Accurately document work and progress in SAP, including time, technical feedback, and job completion status.
* Maintain compliance with safety procedures and environmental standards.
* Support team development by mentoring apprentices and fostering collaboration across teams.

Requirements
We typically look for candidates with:
* A WA-recognised electrical trade qualification.
* Certificate IV in Instrumentation or equivalent trade qualification.
* EEHA and High Voltage Switching certifications.
* A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar industry (petrochemical, gas, or oil refining).
* SAP and Microsoft Office skills (preferred).
* A strong understanding of industry standards, safety practices, and environmental regulations.
* Fluent written and spoken English.
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
