The Group Product Manager will oversee a product portfolio within the Payroll division and play a key role in delivering Xero's strategic objectives. This is a strategic, high-impact role, and we're seeking someone with experience at the Group Product Manager level or above, ready for their next challenge.
Responsibilities:
* Drive product strategy and develop a cohesive narrative for your product area.
* Lead a team of talented product managers and senior product managers to develop and execute the product roadmap.
* Coach team members and elevate product management capabilities within your team and the wider division.
* Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to bring new products to market.
* Deeply understand customer needs and ensure shared understanding of target segments across your team and stakeholders.
* Communicate effectively with executives and stakeholders as the product spokesperson.
* Stay updated on industry and technology trends relevant to your products.
* Develop strategies to drive product adoption and growth.
Qualifications:
* 8+ years of experience in product management.
* 2+ years of leadership experience managing and motivating product teams.
* Motivated by diverse challenges, from strategy and growth to technology outcomes.
* Values-driven with a focus on collaboration and outcomes.
* Willing to learn, innovate, and push boundaries.
* Proven ability to solve complex customer, commercial, and technical problems.
* Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
