About the Job
The primary role of the lecturer is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and / or training package requirements.
Lecturers also undertake Professional Activities (PA) and Activities Related to Delivery (ARD).
Lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development to provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
1. To teach and facilitate learning in accordance with relevant curriculum and / or training package requirements.
2. To assess and mentor students.
3. To undertake Professional Activities (PA) and Activities Related to Delivery (ARD).
About the Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have Trade Qualifications in Cabinet Making and / or Furniture Making. The successful applicant will also have at least 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to this position with an ability to facilitate and encourage learning.
