About the Role
You will join our Talent Advisory team within the Workforce Planning branch in the People and Workforce group.
The Talent Pool Advisor partners with managers and stakeholders across the NSW government sector to deliver contemporary, customer-focused recruitment and talent pooling and talent pipeline solutions that support the attraction and engagement of talent sector wide.
The role provides best practice advice to senior managers, and develops proactive sourcing strategies and targeted attraction campaigns, leveraging modern recruitment technologies and systems to enhance recruitment outcomes.
Working closely with the business, the role supports workforce planning and talent pooling initiatives, while contributing to continuous improvement and delivering a high-quality recruitment service.

We're Looking For
* Talent Advisory: You bring solid experience delivering end‐to‐end recruitment and talent solutions, offering clear, practical advice to senior managers that aligns with policy, legislation, and best practice
* Sourcing and Attraction: You're confident using a range of sourcing methods and targeted attraction campaigns to build diverse, high quality talent pipelines, including proactively engaging passive candidates
* Technology and Systems: You're comfortable working with recruitment systems, digital platforms, and emerging technologies (including AI) to enhance sourcing, insights, reporting, and overall recruitment outcomes
* Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: You build strong working relationships and communicate clearly and professionally, partnering effectively with stakeholders to deliver positive hiring and candidate experiences
* Time Management: You manage your time effectively in a fast‐paced environment, balancing competing recruitment priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail
