Senior Safety Advisor Job Description
This is a senior leadership role that oversees the safety of employees and contractors at a gold mine. The successful candidate will play a key part in implementing our safety strategy and developing the skills of the safety team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and supervise safety advisors to ensure the delivery of our safety plan.
* Develop and grow the capabilities of the safety team to meet operational needs.
* Maintain alignment with site-specific, corporate, and global safety strategies.
* Contribute to the development of operational plans for delivering safety services and projects.
* Prepare and deliver quarterly targets.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Leadership experience in multi-faceted teams.
* Tertiary qualifications in safety or risk management.
* Current WA C Class Driver's license.
