Key Responsibilities

* Assessing the Occupational Therapy needs of NDIS Participants of all ages
* Delivering evidence-based Occupational Therapy intervention across a range of service areas
* Participating in ongoing professional development and work collaboratively with the Therapy Circles Team.
* Implement person-centered planning practices and enhance the skills and knowledge of families and those who support and care for persons with disability.
* Provide Discipline specific Reports as per NDIS requirements
* Identify opportunities and participate in quality improvement activities in consultation with other staff members of Therapy Circles.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

* Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Current AHPRA membership.
* Experience working with people with a disability and community setting.
* Willingness to travel around the Perth metropolitan area (although we are focused on the central and northern suburbs) and work with all age groups as required.
* Prefer Paediatric and/or Mental Health specialist or experience.
* Speaking more than one language is a bonus, but not a requirement unless for a specific participant.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Experience

* High level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* Strong written and computer skills for the creation of plans, programs, reports, correspondence, and other documents.
* Understanding and commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
