TIA Consulting-Building Designers is a well established building design & project management practice providing services to private clientele, corporations & government departments for commercial, industrial & residential type buildings.
We work on interesting and varied projects and the position would suit some-one that likes diversity.
The successful applicant must be competent in the following areas:
Qualified (Australia) in Advanced Diploma of Design/Drafting as a minimum.
Minimum 4 years work experience in Australia in a similar position.
Good local knowledge of construction methods, building materials & design.
Using AutoCAD to prepare Concept, Planning & detailed Working Drawings.
Building Code of Australia & Access Code.
Communication skills, written & verbal.
Ability to work to deadlines, highly motivated & work autonomously or as part of a team.
Ability to work on a project from inception to completion, including meeting with clients, site measure ups, designing, preparation of concept, planning & working drawings, engaging & managing sub-consultants, etc.
