What does the job look like?
We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused driver, MC license preferred but HC considered for our Mining Services operation based in Emerald to move general freight to mine site locations. You will work Monday – Friday from 7am. Key areas:
* Participate in and commit to Linfox safety standards and COR requirements
* Safely deliver mixed mining freight to customer mine sites in the southern Bowen Basin
* Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers at our Emerald terminal
* Securely restrain freight loads using dogs and chains, straps & binders
* Providing excellent customer service while representing Linfox in a professional manner
Are you the one?
You are an experienced and conscientious operator who takes pride in your excellent driving record and safe work history. You can demonstrate:
* A commitment to safety in everything you do
* Forklift license essential
* MC license preferred/ HC license considered with view to upgrade
* A good understanding of load restraint techniques for mining freight
* Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, NHVR fatigue, and road transport regulations
* Good customer service and communication skills
