Disability support worker (kilsyth)

Joy Home Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Female Support Workers to join our expanding team. We are committed to delivering high‐quality, person‐centred support that promotes independence, dignity, and meaningful engagement for every individual we serve.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced support workers with a strong background in the disability and mental health sectors. In this role, you will provide personalised support to clients in their homes and in the community. Responsibilities include assistance with daily living tasks, community access, transportation, and supporting clients who may have pets.

Shifts are available across mornings, afternoons, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person‐centred support that aligns with individual needs and care plans
• Assist with daily living activities and household tasks
• Support community participation and social engagement
• Transport clients safely — including those with pets
• Maintain a professional, empathetic, and respectful approach at all times
• Work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment

• Demonstrated experience in the disability sector
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs
• A positive, reliable, and client‐focused attitude
• Robust communication and problem‐solving skills
• Commitment to promoting choice, independence, and wellbeing

Mandatory Requirements

• Valid Driver's Licence
• Full Comprehensive Car Insurance
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working With Children Check
• National Police Check
• Comfortable working with and transporting pets
• Female applicants only

Pay: $33.00 - $62.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 - 30.0 per week
