Solicitor or Associate - Personal Injury
At Shine Lawyers, we’re proud to work tirelessly in pursuit of justice for people within our community. As a full-time, permanent Solicitor or Associate in our Geelong-based Personal Injury team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference for those who have been wronged.
While experience in personal injury law across any jurisdiction is preferred, it’s not essential. We’re open to mentoring an enthusiastic and capable solicitor who has a solid understanding of the rules of evidence, demonstrates empathy and professionalism, and is passionate about helping vulnerable individuals achieve justice.

* Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients seeking compensation.
* Manage a variety of personal injury matters with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
* Deliver clear, tailored legal advice that aligns with each client’s level of understanding.
* Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients through regular, transparent communication and effective expectation management.
* Prepare and review legal documentation with precision and attention to detail.
* Manage your own file load efficiently, demonstrating strong organisational and commercial awareness.
* Contribute positively to the team environment and provide support to junior colleagues where appropriate.
What you’ll bring
* A Bachelor of Laws, and a current practising certificate.
* Post-admission experience in Personal Injury is preferred but not essential for success.
* A strong understanding of, and ability to interpret the relevant legislation and legal documentation.
* Enjoy working on legally challenging and factually complex matters.
* Maturity and confidence to deal with clients in a trauma informed way.
* A desire to be part of a strong, cohesive team that works together to get great results.
* An innate ability to question, challenge the status quo and always stay ahead of the pack.
* A commitment to truly connect with those around you and work together to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
