With 30+ years of experience, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality repairs for private, insurance, fleet, and custom work.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow
* Apply paint materials, primers, base colours, clears and "DG/2k" colours
* Mix custom colours and match to factory colours
* Prep new panels and repaired sections as required
* De-nib and polish as needed
* Maintain a clean and tidy work area
Essential Skills
* Proficiency in using various types of spray guns and paint systems
* Expert colour matching and blending techniques
* Knowledge of different paint types and their applications
* Understanding of proper surface preparation techniques
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations in automotive painting
Qualifications
* Certified trade qualification or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
* Proven track record of high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
* 5+ years' experience as a qualified painter
* Smash repair experience required
* Experience in full resprays and custom work is a bonus
