Base pay range
A$120,000.00/yr - A$240,000.00/yr
The Stack
* Knowledge Graphs: Neo4j, graph databases, entity relationships
* Semantic Tools: Databricks Genie, Snowflake Cortex, semantic layer platforms
* AI Integration: LLM‑powered ontology automation, prompt engineering, Gen AI
What You’ll Actually Do
* Design and validate ontologies that become the foundation for enterprise AI products
* Build knowledge graphs that connect disparate data sources with semantic meaning
* Create semantic layers for BI dashboards and AI model consumption
* Work on AI reinvention initiatives where semantic architecture enables transformation
* Bridge technical solutions with business stakeholders who need to understand the "why"
* Contribute to communities of practice and elevate team capabilities
What We’re Looking For
* Beyond data modelling – you understand semantic layers as a distinct architectural concern
* Hands‑on with ontology engineering, knowledge representation, or semantic technologies
* Experience with modern semantic tooling (3‑6 months with Databricks Genie/Snowflake Cortex is fine if the mindset is strong)
* You’ve built semantic solutions in real enterprise environments, not just academic theory
* Comfortable explaining complex semantic concepts to both technical and business audiences
* Strong consulting fit: reasonable communication, comfortable with ambiguity, thrive on transformation work
