We are a well-established, Canberra-based renovation company specialising in high-end, bespoke residential renovations. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of local projects, we are seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer to join our professional and collaborative team.
This role is ideally suited to a designer who enjoys working on custom homes and renovations, values quality over volume, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional client experience.
About the Role
You will design custom kitchens as part of larger renovation projects across Canberra and surrounding regions. Working closely with homeowners, project managers and trades, you will manage each design from concept through to installation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting in-home and showroom consultations with clients
* Designing bespoke kitchens tailored to individual homes and lifestyles
* Preparing detailed drawings, specifications and selections
* Assisting clients with joinery, finishes, appliances and layout decisions
* Liaising with internal project teams, local suppliers and manufacturers
* Supporting projects through production, installation and completion
About You
You are a confident, detail-driven designer with a strong understanding of renovation workflows and client expectations.
You will ideally have:
* Proven experience as a Kitchen Designer
* Strong space-planning and design capability
* Proficiency in kitchen design software
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Knowledge of cabinetry construction, materials and appliances
* Ability to manage multiple projects across different stages
