The opportunity
We are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join the team at our Duketon operations.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent (Processing), the Electrical Supervisor will provide direct supervision of the activities of Tradespersons / Technicians (including contractors) and ancillary personnel, within the process plant.
This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster ex-Perth.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
* Ensure electrical compliance requirements of the legislation applicable to your area of responsibility
* Ensure compliance with the WHS Act 2020 & and Regulations 2022
* Provide leadership to the electrical team and broader fixed plant maintenance department
* Work closely with the planning team, managing daily maintenance work plans and break-in tasks
* Provide technical support as required for diagnosis of electrical faults and issues
* Identifying maintenance requirements and improvements to plant and equipment
* Ensuring technician coverage as required
* Manage contract electrical teams as required
* Utilisation of Pronto as the primary maintenance management system
* Ordering adequate spares, materials and consumables
* Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment and identifying areas of improvement
About you
To be successful for this role, you will have:
* Relevant Trade Certificate
* Hold current WA electrical licence
* High Voltage switching certificate completed within last 24 months
* Demonstrated experience in a similar supervisory role in a fixed plant mining environment specialising in the maintenance of equipment such as crushers, mills, compressors etc
* Scheduling, fault finding, report writing and budgeting experience
* Unrestricted manual driver's licence
* S26 exposure, certificate or ability to obtain certificate
