Some of the best leaders don't start with a management title.
They start by stepping up.
At the Farmers Home Hotel in Northam, we're looking for Café Supervisors who bring energy, reliability and natural leadership — people who take responsibility, support their team, and keep service running smoothly.
You don't need formal management experience. If you're someone others rely on when things get busy, we'll provide the training and support to help you step confidently into shift leadership.
About the Venue
The Farmers Home Hotel is a beautifully restored Edwardian building in the heart of Northam, bringing together a boutique 16-room hotel, wine bar and Dôme café in one integrated venue.
This unique environment offers variety, pace and the opportunity to be part of a well-established and respected local business.
About the Role
As a Café Supervisor, you'll be responsible for running your shift — guiding the team, managing service flow and maintaining the quality and presentation standards Dôme is known for.
This is a hands-on role where you'll spend your time on the floor with your team and guests.
Unlike traditional management roles, you won't be responsible for rostering, recruitment or stock control. Your focus will be on leading the shift, supporting your team and completing daily operational tasks such as end-of-day reconciliation.
Shifts are typically 6–8 hours.
Support & Training
You'll receive structured training in Dôme systems, standards and operating procedures, along with ongoing guidance from the Hotel Management team and regular support from our Perth-based leadership team.
