About the Role :

* Located in Katherine (RAAF Tindal)
* Candidates willing to travel from Darwin considered.
* As an SNC AUS Field Service Representative (FSR) in the Digital RF portfolio, you will serve as the on-site technical expert responsible for the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex Electronic Warfare (EW) equipment. Your role bridges the gap between engineering teams, end-users, and maintenance crews, ensuring mission readiness and optimal performance of SNC AUS systems in both workshop and operational environments.

Role Responsibilities:

* Perform efficient and effective product diagnostics, repairs, and testing, including RF, digital, and analogue circuits and networked devices, ensuring timely fault resolution to achieve program KPI's, in a workshop and field service capacity.
* Accurately capture and record data related to faults, diagnostic findings, solutions, and part consumption.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and security protocols in all work practices, and relevant quality certifications.
* Travel to customer sites as required to support system diagnostics and operation.
* Provide feedback to management, engineers, and peers regarding diagnostics, processes, and tools.
* Assist and coach peers to strengthen team capabilities and knowledge-sharing practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
* Maintain quality standards through adherence to best practices, established processes, and relevant quality certifications.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency, reduce equipment downtime, and improve service delivery.

A SNC AUS FSR will:

* Experience:

* EW Systems - Installing, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of associated systems.

* RF, digital, and analogue circuit diagnostics to a card level.
* Understand, operate & use RF and electronic test equipment, including spectrum analysers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, cable & antenna testing equipment.
* Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
* Reading and interpreting technical information, engineering drawings, and schematics.
* Conducting technical analysis and effectively communicating findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
* Bring:

* Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

* Able to contribute to team objectives while also being able to work independently.

Essential Qualifications:

* Minimum Cert III in applicable technical trade or 5 years' experience in a relevant field
* Ability to travel both domestically and overseas (Valid Australian Passport).
* Australian Defence Security Clearance (Positive Vetting), or eligible to obtain a PV clearance. Employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
* Weekend or after-hours travel required to meet customer requirements.
