Join Our Team as a Bus 4x4 Technician/Fitter at Pilbara Motor Group – Perth Motor Bodies in Welshpool. This is a hands-on role for an experienced Automotive Technician who will work on converting Toyota buses (HiAce and Coaster) to 4WD, along with a variety of mechanical and electrical tasks in a modern workshop.

The Role
As a Bus 4x4 Technician, you'll contribute to converting Toyota buses to 4WD and perform a range of mechanical and electrical tasks. You'll work in a modern workshop where no two days are the same and help build 4WD vehicles for customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Convert Buses to 4WD: Specialize in converting HiAce and Coaster buses to 4WD, ensuring high-quality standards and a precise fit.
* Accessory Fitting: Fit and install bull bars, tow bars, snorkels, suspensions, fuel tanks, and more to enhance functionality and safety.
* Tyre & Wheel Work: Perform tyre fitting and wheel alignments to ensure road readiness.
* Mechanical & Electrical Work: Install and replace mechanical components and electrical systems (automotive electrical experience is a plus, but not essential).
* Pre-Delivery Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of new vehicles before delivery to ensure top condition.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Previous 4WD accessory fitting experience is essential.
* Automotive Trade Certificate is required.
* Automotive electrical experience is advantageous but not necessary (training can be provided for the right candidate).
* Strong mechanical knowledge and attention to detail.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
* Current driver's license.
* Must have own hand tools (tool list will be supplied).
