About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our collaborative multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will be joining a passionate, innovative team that works together to build the capacity and skills of the children, families, young people, and adults that we support.
Job Responsibilities
* Providing high-quality Occupational Therapy services in a child's natural environment (home, school or community)
* Delivering trauma-informed care to clients with disabilities
* Contributing to the development and implementation of behaviour support plans
* Supporting individuals with mental health issues
Requirements
* Degree qualification(s) in Occupational Therapy and a minimum of 1 year's experience providing OT support with a focus on best practice and clinical excellence
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the team and other service providers
* Knowledge of confidentiality principles and WHS responsibilities
* Valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
* NSW Driver's Licence
