Backend Developer/Technical Consultant – Hybrid in Canberra/Melbourne/Sydney each week
Our client has engaged IT Search to select a mid to senior Consultant with a mix of client facing ability and strong backend development knowledge to join their existing Australian teams, working on AWS and SaaS infrastructure for implementation and deployment of their flagship product.
The company is a well-established market leader in the area of biometric authentication; their product and service has taken off over the past number of years within a market with high spend on software and specifically around security.
Initial intensive training will be provided on the specific product range and the Development Consultant will be integrated in the client ecosystem over time. Additional project-based development will be ongoing also as well as strong potential for promotion and technical advancement in authentication and biometrics. This firm has an excellent and straightforward interview process that is based around a genuine two-way conversation.
The role:
* Becoming part of an Australian (and international) team of Consultants designing and executing onboarding of SaaS product suite with customer technical teams
* Utilising experience of Java (ideally) and full lifecycle product development to map requirements around integrations/deployments
* Ongoing documentation and focus on project delivery
* Acting as Pre-Sales Subject Matter Expert from time to time
* Working with global team to increase overall quality of implementation and ongoing customer usage of product range
Candidates should have:
* 8+ years of commercial development experience, customer facing or relationship building
* Exceptional communication skills
* Background in Java (full stack ideally), depth of framework knowledge
* AWS deployment experience ideally with SaaS, API knowledge as well as a level of comfort integrating with Database level
* Keen eye for Security, PKI etc. concerns at each step of the way
