About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Exploration Geologist to lead exploration and project‐scale geological programs across our Western Australian gold assets. This role is ideal for a technically strong exploration geologist who can integrate field leadership, geological interpretation, and project management to advance discovery and resource development.
Key Responsibilities
Exploration & Geology
Lead and manage gold and mineral exploration programs across greenfields and brownfields WA projects.
Plan, design, and execute drilling programs (RC, diamond, and air core) in alignment with project objectives.
Produce high quality geological logging, core interpretation, and sampling workflows.
Develop and refine geological models, incorporating structural, lithological, and geochemical datasets.
Interpret geophysical, geochemical, and drilling datasets to identify targets and support resource growth.
Ensure accurate geological databases and QA/QC compliance.
Project Management
Manage project budgets, schedules, contractor performance, and reporting requirements.
Prepare technical reports, drill summaries, and exploration updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Lead, mentor and collaborate with project and field geologists, field technicians, and contractors.
Oversee field operations and management and maintenance of company assets to ensure safe and efficient exploration execution.
Safety & Compliance
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all WA mining and environmental regulations.
Contribute to JORC compliant documentation and processes where required.
Ensure adherence to company procedures, permitting obligations, and ESG commitments.
Skills & Experience Required
Tertiary Qualification in Geology, Geoscience, or Earth Science (postgraduate qualifications desirable).
8+ years' experience in gold exploration or mining within Western Australia.
Strong knowledge of Archaean greenstone belts, orogenic gold systems, and WA geological terranes.
Demonstrated experience planning and managing exploration drilling programs.
High-level competency in geological software (e.g., Micromine, QGIS, Logchief and Microsoft Access).
Strong core logging, structural geology, and geological modelling capabilities.
Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring junior geologists.
Excellent communication and technical writing abilities.
Valid WA Manual Driver's Licence and ability to work in remote field environments.
Experience with resource development and near‐mine exploration.
Familiarity with project generation and targeting methodologies.
