Company Description

South West Community Transport (SWCT) is a not-for-profit organization based in Minto and Mittagong, NSW, that provides transportation services to the frail aged, people with disabilities, their carers, and those who are transport disadvantaged. Funded under the Commonwealth Home Support Program, SWCT serves 6 local government areas including Camden, Campbelltown, Fairfield, Liverpool, Wollondilly and Wingecarribee.

Role Description

This is a volunteer on-site role at SWCT in Minto or Mittagong, NSW. The volunteer Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting paid staff in providing administrative support, handling phone calls with proper etiquette, maintaining communication with stakeholders, assisting executives with administrative tasks, and utilising clerical skills effectively.

You do not need any formal qualifications, just a willingness to give back, empathy and kindness.

This is a great opportunity if you are looking at enhancing your administrative skills or just wanting to give back to your community and help others.

South West Community Transport will reimburse you for any expenses incurred getting checks to qualify to volunteer as well as a mileage allowance to assist you getting from home to work.

We have 2 depots that you can volunteer at, one being situated at minto and the other one in Mittagong.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get out and support a great organisation delivering a much needed service to the elderly in the community.
