About You: Qualified Tradesperson: Must hold a relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent). Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in mechanical repair and diagnostics. Skills: Strong organisational, time management, and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail. Licensing: A valid Manual Driver’s License is required. Bonus: Auto Electrical qualifications or experience with 4×4 aftermarket suspension and mechanical upgrades are highly valued. About the Job: Mechanical & Diagnostics: Detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts using advanced diagnostic tools; dismantle and repair engine assemblies, transmissions, and steering mechanisms. Maintenance: Perform scheduled servicing, engine tune-ups, and safety inspections on a variety of light vehicles and 4WDs. Upgrades: Install and calibrate ARB aftermarket mechanical accessories (including Suspension, GVM Upgrades, and Fuel Tanks) to high quality standards. Efficiency: Complete allocated daily tasks to ensure promised delivery times and quality standards are met. Safety & Quality: Follow OHS and Workshop procedures; ensure safe use and maintenance of workshop equipment. Communication: Work closely with the Workshop Manager and Sales Team to report concerns or delays and ensure clear results for our customers.
