To support Corinthian in the National control of inventory ensuring the best utilisation of capital whilst maintaining an adequate supply of material for production and customer requirements.
This role is critical in ensuring the continuity of supply to our customers while ensuring we are maximising the use of space and capital. The control around inventory management is imperative for any organisation to achieve financial targets and none is truer than in the Door Industry. Corinthian has long been known as the market leader in the supply of doors and this role is integral in ensuring its continued success.
The successful applicant will help drive the execution of strategic inventory objectives whilst identifying, developing, and executing improvement opportunities which will ensure the continuity of our brands supply to market.
**The Role**:
- Overseeing and reporting of stocktake and end of month reporting
- Management of SLOB
- Optimisation of Inventory holdings in line with strategic objectives
- Gather Demand, generate purchasing requirements, and manage supply requirements for intercompany supply (including on Asian operations)
- Manage and Report Freight on the Water, and Stock In Transit
- Oversee and champion the stocktake process
- Ensure business compliance to End Of Month processes including Average Cost and Freight Cost assignment
- Manage SLOB and product rationalisation of inventory
- Champion MRP - understanding and ensuring the controlled use of MRP
- Manage Stock and Inventory Distribution across Australasia
- Provide answers on data and inventory related questions
- Ensure purchasing functions are maintaining data effectively (purchase order due dates, price management, and open order management).
**About You**
- Purchasing and inventory Management experience
- Doors product or construction knowledge in a similar industry
- An understanding of MRP and other demand/inventory planning techniques
- Strong skills in Excel, Excel formulas, and pivot tables
- Strong PowerPoint, and presentation skills
- An excellent ability to analyse and interpret large amounts of data
