The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Systems and Process Analyst to join our Networks Planning and Scheduling team in Thomastown VIC office on a Permanent Full-time basis.
Reporting to the National Manager, Planning & Scheduling, this role will ensure systems and processes are optimised to meet all APA operational, capital work, regulatory and contractual obligations to an industry best practice cost profile.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work with APA IT, Networks technical teams and the Field Service teams to ensure the Planning and Scheduling systems and processes are performing at their optimum level and issues are managed and escalated appropriately
2. Provide input into process design, and measure adherence to these processes within the Planning & Scheduling team as well as the greater Networks organisation
3. Drive customer service and cost efficiencies by continuously optimising the systems and processes
4. Develop and analyse data to identify constraints and opportunities and work with stakeholders to implement agreed solutions
5. Super User support for all systems and processes within Planning and Scheduling
About You
1. Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience
2. Experience in the use and management of Field Service optimisation software, Maximo, Excel or MS Access and SQL would be advantageous
3. Experience in the end-to-end process of system implementation, from the creation of the business case to the final embedding of the project
4. Knowledge of (or demonstrated ability to quickly establish) relevant technical regulatory obligations and standards in the operations and maintenance of gas infrastructure
5. Able to carry out investigations into system issues that have bearing on performance goals/targets

Networks manages and operates transmission pipelines and local distribution networks that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia.
This is an exciting time for the Networks team, we are growing and expanding with many new projects, including 2032 Olympics. We also have a strong culture of continuous improvement and working towards Net Zero with the introduction of renewable green gas into the Gas Networks.
