Job Title: Human Resources Manager
We are seeking an experienced and energetic HR professional to join our dynamic leadership team for a 3+ month parental leave cover. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary point of contact for all people-related matters, ensuring our colleagues feel as valued as our guests.
With a strong focus on employee engagement, performance and development support, end-to-end recruitment and onboarding; you'll bring both strategic insight and genuine care to our workplace culture. A Day in the Life:
* Continue to foster and further develop an engaged and positive working environment for all colleagues
* Lead, mentor and guide hotel leaders during the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring that all new colleagues have received the appropriate tools to succeed
* Sustain and embed the use of all branded people tools to recruit, train, recognise, reward and retain top talent
* Manage employee records and ensure compliance with relevant employee laws, appropriate industrial relations legislation and payroll compliance
* Develop and manage policies and procedures
* Have a strong understanding of employment law and regulations
* Collaborate and partner with the leadership team in the implementation of workplace health, safety and wellbeing related initiatives
* Participate in investigations of injuries and illness arising from workplace activities
* Partner with the leadership team to ensure the hotel lives our promise of the employer brand and create a leadership culture focused on engagement
* Prepare and utilise HR data to inform and guide hotel leaders and enable strategic planning and forecasting to occur
* Understand the talent landscape and drive the talent management process ensuring robust succession and people planning
* Support end-to-end employee relations, including performance management and performance improvement plans
What We Need From You:
* A High school diploma, secondary education or equivalent
* At least 2 years' related experience in Human Resources
* Further education in Human Resources or employment law is preferred
* You must speak fluent English; other languages are a bonus
