About You
We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals who are dedicated to maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable environments for our aged care clients. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, good time-management skills, and a genuine respect for older people. You will take pride in your work and understand the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in supporting the health, dignity, and well-being of our clients. Experience in cleaning, particularly within aged care or home environments, is desirable.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
* Performing general cleaning duties in clients' homes or aged care settings, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry and bathroom and kitchen cleaning.
* Ensuring high standards of hygiene and infection control are maintained at all times.
* Safely using cleaning equipment and products in accordance with procedures.
* At times, working in environments with clients who may have mobility or cognitive impairments, while always maintaining their dignity, privacy, and comfort.
* Supporting a safe, pleasant, and welcoming environment that promotes clients' comfort and well-being.
Our ideal candidate will be available to work up to 5 days per week. Days and times are negotiable, and you will have the opportunity to pick up additional shifts to assist with covering personal and annual leave. This role is ideal for school hours if this is your preference.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years experience as a cleaner.
* Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
* Reliable transport (your own registered and insured vehicle) for travel to clients' homes.
* Completion of a National Police Record Clearance.
* Proof of three doses of COVID-19 vaccination.
