Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results‐driven National Account Executive to join our team in Mulgrave.
This is a terrific opportunity for a motivated and aspiring individual to enter the world of mainstream FMCG sales. It's not just about account management though.
You'll have the opportunity to develop other skill sets too. Involvement in New Product Development for the modern trade will give you direct exposure to working with our marketing managers to deliver meaningful product solutions for the modern trade.
Category management is another competency that you'll learn in this area of the business, allowing you to make informed recommendations for promotional strategy across core lines and for new line launches.
As a team member of the mainstream sales team, your contribution to our achievement of sales and net profit will be significant and rewarding.
Responsibilities
* Management of the following emerging national accounts. Costco Wholesale, Aldi Supermarkets, Discount Retailers and Amazon
* Manage all aspects of business development within those key accounts
* Involvement in New Product Development for national key accounts within the modern trade
* Assessment of competitive products in market to validate certain NPD
* Collaboration with our marketing managers & sales colleagues to deliver new product ideas
* Perform other duties as required by management
Qualifications
* Qualifications in Marketing / Commerce or other relevant fields
* Experience in FMCG, preferably in the Food and Beverage Industry is preferable
* Detailed and good analytical/numerical skills
* Category & Key account management experience within Australian markets
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
