About the role
As a Stocktake Team Member, you'll play a key role in supporting the store during an important stocktake period. Working as part of a dedicated team, you'll help prepare the store for stocktake, participate in accurate stock counting, and assist with follow‐up investigations once counts are completed. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys working to deadlines and takes pride in accuracy.
This is a fixed‐term contract for 3 weeks, from 13th April - 3rd May.
Flexibility to work across a range of shifts during the stocktake period is required, including work outside of standard trading hours where needed.
We provide an adult base pay rate from $35 per hour for this role.
What's involved
* Helping get the store ready for stocktake, including organising and preparing stock
* Manually counting all or part of the store's inventory
* Ensuring stock levels are accurately reflected in the computer system
* Assisting with investigations, recounts, and discrepancy resolution after counting
* Replenishing and tidying stock once stocktake activities are completed
* Supporting stocktake activities outside of trading hours where required
Who we're looking for
We're looking for reliable, detail‐focused team members with a positive, can‐do attitude. You'll be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team and willing to pitch in to ensure stocktake is completed accurately and on time.
Previous retail or stock handling experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
You'll need
* A high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
* Good time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines
* Flexibility to work required shifts across the 3‐week period
* A willingness to learn and contribute as part of a team
* The ability to be on your feet and complete physical tasks as required
