Who you are

You are a collaborative, confident library professional with deep expertise in repositories, research data and scholarly communication. You care deeply about open research and quality service and thrive in complex, evolving environments. Bringing curiosity, sound judgement and a solutions-focused mindset to your work, you enjoy leading and building capability in others, translating emerging trends into practical services, and working across disciplines to enhance repository services.

You are motivated by quality, impact and service excellence, and you are ready to influence how research and learning outputs are accessed, shared and preserved.

You will lead and strengthen UniSQ Library's education and research repositories, delivering next-generation infrastructure that improves access, visibility and impact of research and learning outputs. From day one, you will guide a skilled team and key stakeholders, lift metadata quality, strengthen compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Over your first 6–12 months, you will help shape the strategic direction of repositories at UniSQ, improve discoverability and usage, and position the Library as a trusted partner in research and learning. Your work will have visible impact - supporting researchers, educators and students, elevating the University's research profile, and creating opportunities to innovate, lead initiatives and grow your professional influence.

* Deep understanding of academic library environments and emerging trends in research data, open research and scholarly communication
* High-level digital and information literacy, with hands-on experience in repositories, research information systems or research data management platforms
