What You Will Be Doing
Executing and planning intricate infrastructure transformations, including moving from legacy systems to the AWS cloud and conducting lift-and-shift migrations.
Crafting and implementing monitoring strategies, along with developing automation for monitoring, software deployment, and operational workflows.
Carrying out system monitoring, conducting system backups, responding to incidents, migrating databases, configuring databases, and optimizing costs.

Dev Ops Engineer Key Responsibilities
Enhance reliability and standardization of cloud infrastructure across our expanding product lineup by implementing effective monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices.
Basic Requirements
Extensive AWS infrastructure knowledge (our primary platform—other cloud experience alone isn\u2019t sufficient).
Proficient programming skills in Python or Java Script for developing automation and tools.
Proven experience in managing and migrating production databases with various engines (including My Sql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL).
Advanced skills in Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation).
Expertise in Linux systems administration.

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
The payment period is weekly.
